For La Mirada residents who prefer to eat at home, Reventaco offers delivery so the food comes directly to the door. The restaurant has made a point of making its menu as accessible as possible, whether someone is dining in for a quick lunch or ordering from across town after a long day.
Reventaco also provides full catering services, making it a practical option for local events, fundraisers, sports gatherings, and private parties. The entire menu is available for catering orders, which gives event organizers flexibility to build out a spread that fits their crowd. For a community as active as La Mirada, having a local restaurant willing to show up and serve fresh Baja-style food at events is a genuine resource worth knowing about. Those interested in booking catering or placing an order can reach out through the restaurant’s website at reventaco.com.
Delicious! I love the Tostilocos Ceviche here. It tastes amazing and the presentation is pretty good too. This place has delicious food, decently priced and has great service.
Came here on Sunday and ordered a 3 taco combo, 2 tacos, and a torta. $40 in total. Food is mid with barely any flavor and the service is TERRIBLE. Little short guy at the register gave us an attitude and asks if I wanted chiles with my order, I say sure and he fails to disclose it’s an extra charge before I pay for it… Upon getting our food, I had to ask about the drink that comes with the combo because he was just going to let us walk out without getting one despite paying for it. Then he tells us the soda fountain isn’t working… okay that would’ve been great to know beforehand. Proceeds to tell us it’s an extra charge for a bottled drink with another attitude, I can’t even get the fountain drink with a refill so okay I guess that’s an even trade… We go home and find the chip bag that comes with the combo half full with like 10 chips and he gave us a whopping 3 salsas for our whole order… let me guess, extra charge for that too? Save your money and get better tasting and cheaper fish/shrimp baja tacos at Tacos Baja 10 min away in Whittier. The chiles/crema/salsas are FREE with your order and the staff there are much kinder. This place is around the corner from me but I’m not a fan of being nickle-and-dimed for wack food, there’s both Taco Nazo and Tacos Baja less than 15 min away. Save yourself and go to any of those!!
Flat out disgusting food and customer service! Rude employee uses same gloves for food, handling money and cleaning! Dead roaches! Eat here at your own risk!!!!! Police was there as I was leaving because the short male employee with dark was bullying a customer and decided to waste the cops time because the lady wouldn’t leave without her order being made correctly. Take your money elsewhere!
I really wanted to like this place but it was a little disappointing. The pictures on their website and all over their restaurant looked way better than it actually looked in person. When we ordered, I was disappointed to hear that they were out of fish tacos and guacamole. They were set to close in an hour. Fish tacos appears to be their signature item though and I was looking forward to trying it. You walk up to the counter to order and they bring the food to you. We ordered: 3 Taco combo (Al Pastor, Shrimp and Chicken) Individual Tacos: Al Pastor, Shrimp and Asada The first thing I noticed was the lack of presentation. The Corn tortillas were not warm and soft. Almost as if they were quickly put together. Least favorite: Asada Shrimp- tender but lacking in flavor Al Pastor- favorite of the 3 tacos. Good flavor. Grilled. Tacos didn’t have much filling. It seemed like they were trying to stretch out the meat they had since there were people still coming in even though they close at 8pm (for a Friday?) Chicken taco - not much flavor. Moist. Rice and beans - tasty Roasted Yellow Pepper- known for them. Very good. Great roasted flavor with a little sweetness. Foam plates? Maybe I wouldn’t have minded if the food was amazing. For a restaurant, I would expect something more than foam plates. Left still feeling hungry 🙁 Not sure I would come back.
Came to grab some tacos. I love their potato tacos combo (comes with beans, rice and a drink) my son loves their fish tacos combo. I don’t know if they changed the cook but let me say that the beans and rice were delish very flavorful! Some of the Mexican restaurants that I’ve been to the rice and beans are average with flavor but these two were just darn good!! Con sazon! lol that’s what we Mexicans say when we cook the right way! The potato tacos did not disappoint either and my son was very happy with his order as well. He also said that “the beans and rice were really tasty and good”. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area. Lively place with music and a great hangout ambiance. Family friendly as well.
