My family and I used Tom’s Mexican Grill food truck recently for a celebration of life for our mother who recently passed away. Directly after her funeral, we had hired Tom and his staff to come feed and serve our family at a private location. There was approximately 50-75 of us. Although the chicken and carne asada tacos tasted good, the Al Pastor taco was EXTREMELY salty. It tasted like they had accidentally dumped an entire container of salt in the meat. It’s clear they do not taste the food before serving it. We had family from all over the place including many that flew in from different states. So far, 10 of us have communicated horrible sickness with nausea, vomiting and all of the symptoms of food poisoning. Although the service from the staff was friendly and quick considering how many of us were present at the memorial service, we are questioning the freshness and preparation of the food. I personally flew back home to Georgia today and having food poisoning while traveling was a far from pleasant experience. Disappointing to say the least considering this event they were hired for was a celebration of life for my mother. I would definitely not suggest using them for your event due to the excessive saltiness of the food and reports/obvious signs of food poisoning from multiple family members.
Noisy but bc it's a sport bar type place. Food is excellent. I've had super fries and super nachos here. I love the put whatever you want build your item style here. It is AMAZING!! Loveee it!!
I eat here all the time. Food is good. Last week I ordered the soft taco plate and it came with chips. Today, same order, but took my order to go. I asked for the chips and was told its an extra cost. So let me understand this. Just because I don't eat in the establishment I don't get the chips?. Be better Tom's, for $.50 worth of chips? Unacceptable
Awesome place with great food, quantity, and pricing. This is also the only spot I e been to that lets me build my own super fries which just made them that much better. Good tasted great, quality was great, and staff was friendly. Only downside i have with this place is their guac, I don't know if it's fresh but it sure doesn't seem like it.
chips were cripsy and good, my crunchy tacos (beef) were lacking. i asked for guac and they told me it doesn't come with guac. heres the kicker, for the Chili cheese fries i got they told me addons are extra. Ok so which is it? i wanted guac on all the tacos. honestly just had me feeling like you thought i wasn't going to be able to afford it. Also you charged me for cilantro. I did not ask for cilantro on Chili Cheese. the taco plate came with a beer, that i did not get until 1 of the 2 employees that are allowed to work the bar was free to give me my drink. The drink was 30% head. i just drank it fast and left, because me and my bros were finished eating by the time they got me the drink. I asked for it earlier, and they just brush me off saying to give them a minute as there is a rush going on. this was halfway through my meal though. more people kept coming in. so ofc i was going to sit at the front and force you to get me my drink or you would have waited until everyone was gone to do so. This place is way too popular for me to let that happen. people just keep coming in. first time i went in i had a burrito. It was amazing. 5/5 its why i came in again.
