Tucked along Imperial Highway, this welcoming La Mirada restaurant brings flavorful, thoughtfully prepared dishes to the local community. Kira Kira Restaurant offers a warm dining atmosphere where neighbors can gather to enjoy a satisfying meal. Residents looking for a neighborhood spot worth returning to are encouraged to stop in and see what's on the menu.
I always wanted to try this place whenever I came to this mall because it looked really cozy and had an old-school Japanese vibe outside. Finally tried it, but I was a little disappointed. It feels more like a roll-focused spot than a traditional sushi place. The rolls were okay, and they give free miso soup and a small salad, which was nice!! I feel like if they cleaned up the decor a bit and put more effort into remodeling, plus added more sushi and sashimi options, this place could be way more popular. It definitely has a lot of potential.
We absolutely love this hidden gem of a restaurant. If you're in the area of la habra near imperial, you gotta come here. It's like you stepped right into a little slice of japan, but they're playing really great fifties and sixties rock
10/11/2025 = 1:20PM = 4 Star = We order a lot of Sushi Roll , I Enjoy almost everything, 1 of my Son ordered Pork Cutlet and he just alright, My Wife ask for Lemonade Refill , server said only one time Refill . We still enjoy the Sushi, we will try again maybe soon .
Great little spot. Good atmosphere.Lots of returning local customers. Service is friendly and fast. Kinda busy at times. But worth the wait. Food is fresh and portions are good.
Popped in spontaneously and they accommodated us outside at a nice table with a warmer. The sushi was so good! They even have us a roll on the house which seemed to be low carb. The rolls were super fresh, and the service was good. They even had a cool Japanese toilet if you’ve never seen one 😂 they also do a cool raffle and give you the tickets when you pay. Overall, I’d come back and try out other food on the menu! It really was a little hidden gem!
