I got the Peak burger with grilled onions and cheddar cheese. It must have a mass of 2lbm!!!! It is literally the best burger I have ever had in my life!!!!
Peak Burger ticked all the check boxes of a great diner- Great food, good portions and reasonable prices. One of the best diner experiences in a long time. It is my husband's goto place for lunch on a week day. Everything that we ordered was freshly made and tasted great. Grilled Chicken salad, chicken strip, the chili cheese fries and the zucchini fries...all excellent. Glad we accompanied my husband and go to experience this gem of a place.
Peaks is the friendliest establishment Ive been to in awhile. All employees are corgile and helpful. The food is utterly amazing. So very tasteful and proper serving sizes. Definitely put them on your list of places to eat.
Updated review (for to-go orders). We are local (within walking distance) and have been going to Peaks since they opened. Over time, the service and food quality have been declining, which has us considering other options like Tom's or Paul's Place. I'd say in the last 5-7 visits something has been wrong with the food. The French fries (typically have at least one in every order), used to be amazing, but now are always soggy or over cooked which makes us think they are using old oil or re-dipping them when we order them with no salt. Fundamental items that should go with the food like butter, syrup, ketchup, or salt and pepper are not always included. Obviously not the end of the world but it's frustrating to get home, find a half burned pancake and no syrup, especially when I don't have any at home. For the price today ($35 for 2 people: #1-3eggs any style-sub toast with a pancake (no drink), and a Patty melt combo), along with the number of times we gave them a "second chance", I think it's finally time to make the drive somewhere else.
