I had a terrible experience at this AutoZone location today around 11:00 AM and wish I had gone somewhere else. When I walked in, I was ignored by an employee named Giovanny, who couldn't even manage a basic hello or welcome. Instead, he just stared at me like I was an alien. After picking up my two items, I had to wait in line for over 20 minutes. There were only two registers open for a crowd of people. When it was finally my turn to pay, my total was $20.94. I handed the cashier a $100 bill, and she flatly told me, "I don't have change, so you can't buy it." I asked if the other open register had change, and she just said, "Nope." It is mind-boggling that a major store with two open registers at 11:00 AM cannot break a bill for a purchase. To top it all off, while I was being denied my purchase over a lack of change, someone was actively stealing sunglasses right by the entrance and none of the staff did a single thing about it. Absolute joke of a customer service experience. Avoid this location.
The knowledge of some of the employees is clearly lacking so you have to be sure you get the correct thing .. like standard lug nuts not metric etc
Went in for a new battery this morning. I don’t know what I’m doing, but the woman at the register was very helpful (I didn’t get her name) and then Robert Perez helped install the battery for me. He also gave me some tips and let me know of another part that’s about to give me some problems and to keep and eye on it. In and out very quickly and everyone was helpful and friendly. Store Manager and Commercial Manager were both VERY RUDE and accused me of adding fuel to a rotor ? Which makes ZERO SENSE and off the bat kicked me out of the store. I am a commercial business owner and I have many purchases at many different AutoZone locations and they were horrible here for that . I post mechanic content on social media like Instagram and TikTok and have a decent sized following so this will be posted on social media as it was all filmed by me , to show how rude and disrespectful they were . That is unacceptable. The store manager then decided to come out and try to fight me . Why get physical as a STORE MANAGER. He needs to be less emotional and trained better.
This place does not know what they're talking about. I brought in an old car battery to recycle it and the lady that works there told me they couldn't recycle it because it's expired and to just throw it in the trash. I'm pretty sure that's illegal due to the toxic chemicals in it. Ridiculous, I don't know anything about cars but I know that.
