Do not come to this shop. Those that have left good reviews are family or friends. I had a simple brake pads and rotors change on my GR86 Trueno edition. They made me come back to the shop 3 times because according to them the parts weren’t fitting. Even after I communicated with them before buying. I bought brembo original parts since my car had brembo calipers. Got there and they still say they wouldn’t fit lol. After they confirmed over text that they would…. I ask to speak with the main guy and dude continued to refused to come out and explain to me. They would not release the car to me unless I paid. I paid and they brought the car to the front. The owner kept hiding but I was able to catch him on my way out. I confronted him and he stated that the parts weren’t fitting and he had to grab some other brake pads and just install those. Not my brembo pads…. He kept those. I’m sure it was for one of his buddies cars. I recently went to get them change and they noticed the clips were missing…. Like please avoid this shop. They are just in it for the cloud. They don’t know what they are doing. Not understanding that you have to push the pistons back on calipers is insane to me. That’s why the brakes pads weren’t fitting. Waste of time and money.

I’ve taken my FRS, Civic, CRV, & Corolla for all of their maintenance services as well as suspension work for the Corolla and Civic. Will was so nice to give help me out with some spacers when I came in to get wheels mounted and alignment for my civic. They provide very reliable service and will continue to bring all my cars here and recommend to everyone I know.

Not sure why this shop doesn't have more reviews. Been going here since last year and each service has been fantastic. Service here is top notch and offers competitive pricing. Really appreciate you can make appointments here. Just show up on time, and they'll starting working on your car immediately. Only downside is that these guys are booked pretty fast so you'll have to plan ahead or look for a different shop for anything urgent. Also worth mentioning the staff here are pretty nice too. Came 40 mins late to an appointment and they surprisingly still accepted me. (Sorry) Again, really nice people. And top of that, it's cool knowing the owner: Will, is a car enthusiast. That alone, tells me he cares about the work he puts into his customers cars. Came on a good day and Will had his GTR parked out

Took my recently acquired used car in on a Saturday for an overall check up after prepaying and making an apppointment. I knew some of the things that were wrong with the car but deliberately left that info out to see what they find. Got a call 2 hours later saying car is ready. I pick it up and guess what? Nothing. No report. No breakdown of things the car needs. My expectation was I would get a report of things needed which I would have gladly approved and get the work done. And these guys make you prepay before you even set foot in the place. But instead I was told to pick up the car and a report/estimate to be emailed to me the next week . Who does that? Never in my 30 years of taking cars in for service did I expect that to happen. I had to call back after a few days later to get the multipoint inspection and estimate I paid for. Unacceptable imo. I truly do not think they had any intention of performing any work on my car which only needed minor things...valve cover gasket, shocks/struts, belts, undercarriage splash shield. Basic stuff. Their excuse was they only have a couple of bays and space is limited. Fine. Then tell me that before hand. My feeling is that I paid for NOTHING. I had to ask for the multipoint inspection. I took the car to another repair facility and got a proper inspection. I ended up doing all the work that the car needed and a few more maintenace items. Only took a day and a half. Concept 3 told me a few days for parts plus a a day or two for installation. Irregardless, I would have been fine leaving the car for as long as they needed it. What turned me off as a consumer, was I really did not get the service I paid for after prepaying for an inspection, making an appointment, and taking a Saturday to get things handled as weekdays are usually pretty hectic for me. Again, I told them I would been fine leaving the car there for days or even a week. It was my first time there but I should have known that their bread and butter is modifying Korean cars. I went to them because of the posts they make on social media making it seem like they can diagnose a vehicle. Anyway, never again. Instead, I took my car to a proper shop in Yorba Linda a few miles from my house and got all the mechanical issues sorted in addition to some recommended items such as all fluids, rear speakers, and front/rear shocks/struts. That shop was thorough and communicated with me every step of the way. Car is driving like a new car again. No thanks to Concept3

Great customer service. Called in and Jasmin was able to get us an estimate and we were able to book an appointment for the installation of fog lights on our 2023 Tacoma. Very pleased with the installation (perfect placing). Thank you, to Mr. Will and the team for the great service. Strongly recommend!

The shop has built a reputation as a specialty tuner shop with a particular focus on K-series engines and Honda/Acura platform vehicles, making it a go-to destination for owners of these cars who want more than what a standard repair shop can offer.

What sets Concept III apart from general auto repair facilities is its depth of knowledge in performance tuning and engine work. Rather than offering a broad menu of basic services, the team focuses on what they know best, bringing a level of technical expertise that enthusiasts specifically seek out. Whether a customer is looking to extract more power from a daily driver or build out a dedicated track car, Concept III approaches each project with the kind of attention to detail that only comes from genuine passion for the craft.

For La Mirada residents who own Honda, Acura, or other vehicles running K-series powertrains, having a specialized shop this close to home is a genuine convenience. The drive to Santa Fe Springs is short, and working with a shop that understands the specific demands of these platforms saves time, money, and frustration compared to bringing a performance vehicle somewhere unfamiliar with its needs.

Beyond the wrenching, Concept III maintains an active presence online, sharing technical content and updates through their blog and merchandise offerings, which speaks to a shop that is genuinely embedded in the enthusiast community rather than simply operating as a transactional service business.
