EōS Fitness on Beach Blvd brings an impressively equipped gym experience to La Mirada residents at a price point that removes the usual barriers to consistent fitness. With memberships starting at just $9.99 per month, the facility operates on a High Value, Low Price philosophy that gives community members access to amenities typically found at much higher-end clubs. Whether someone is just beginning their fitness journey or has been training for years, the pricing structure and range of equipment make it a realistic option for a wide cross-section of the neighborhood.
The facility itself covers an extensive range of fitness needs under one roof. Members have access to a full free weights area stocked with barbells, kettlebells, and dumbbells reaching up to 150 pounds, a lap swimming pool suitable for both solo swimming and group aquatic classes, a hot tub for post-workout recovery, and a sauna. The EōS Yard offers functional training space, and the Recovery Room gives members a dedicated area to focus on rest and muscle repair — something that is often overlooked at busier commercial gyms.
Group fitness programming is a particular strength of this location. EōS La Mirada offers cycling classes, strength and cardio sessions, dance and Zumba, yoga, pilates, water aerobics, and Les Mills classes. The variety means that members can shift between formats depending on their goals or energy level on any given day, and the scheduled class structure gives people a built-in routine to follow without needing to plan every workout from scratch.
The gym is open Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. and on weekends from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., accommodating early risers, people who work traditional office hours, and those who prefer evening sessions. For La Mirada residents living near Beach Blvd and Hillsborough Drive, the location is convenient for quick stops before work or longer weekend visits. Those interested in membership or wanting to try the facility can reach EōS Fitness by phone at (562) 232-9500 or visit the gym directly to ask about current promotions and free pass options.
Machines are broken every month! It takes two months to fix them. The GM is trash! And if you want to change your membership, you’re going to get stuck paying stupid fees. My name is Dima Petryga—whoever is running this, look me up in your database and talk to me in person, because whenever I want to talk, no one from management is ever present. Trash gym that used to be good! Do your job, GM. Oh, and all the cables are broken and move like a 70-year-old wheelchair.
William is an excellent instructor. It’s not difficult to follow the body combat choreography because he explains and demonstrates it very clearly. He also led the body pump class last night. Again, he was very good. I hope he will be our regular instructor for both these classes at Tuesday’s class line up.
I’ve been going to EōS Fitness and wanted to share an honest experience for anyone considering joining. The biggest issue is how crowded it gets—especially during peak hours. It often feels overcrowded to the point where it’s difficult to complete a workout without long waits. Maintenance is another concern. Quite a few machines are frequently out of order, and it doesn’t seem like they’re repaired as quickly as they should be. Cleanliness could also be improved. The bathrooms and showers are often unclean, and even some of the equipment could use more regular sanitizing. That said, the membership is very affordable, so in some ways you do get what you pay for. If you’re on a tight budget and can work around the busy times, it might still be a decent option—but just be aware of these trade-offs.
Honestly, I'm pretty fed up with Gold's Gym lately. It's just way too crowded, especially if you try to go around 4 PM. I'm talking about spending a good 15 minutes just trying to find a parking spot, and then once you're inside, it's another long wait just to get on a machine. It really cuts into your workout time. They also recently raised my membership price by $3, which is a bit annoying. I wouldn't mind the price hike so much if they actually used that money to improve things, like expanding the facility or adding some new equipment. But nope, no new machines in sight. And don't even get me started on the bathrooms. They're consistently disgusting and smell like they haven't been properly cleaned in ages. It's just not a pleasant experience overall. Gold's Gym really needs to step up its game.
I guess members don’t matter. The whole dumbbell area is closed at 10am to stick EOS symbols on the wall Three months later, EOS is changing the wall coverings and flooring during membership hours. There was a guy today, squeezing between me and the wall putting mastic on it to apply vinyl pieces. We should remodeling the men’s Locker room with broken and dirty urinals, showers, and lockers.
