I went for a physical for a job request. The staff at the front desk and the nurse who had me screened were swift. It wasn't until I waited for the physical therapist to evaluate my physical aptitude that everything changed to the worse. When I arrived, the PT told me I had to wait 15 min for the PT that was going to evalute me. 5 min went by and the PT then tol me that the PT was going to lunch and I'd have to wait an additional 30 min. I said ok so I went to lunch as well. After 40 min, I went back to physical therapy dept. and I continued to wait. Then another parient who had arrived after myself got attended by the therapist who I had waited for almost an hour. I told her and the other therapist why was I not next. They didnt respond. I was upset but I still remained calm and waited my turn. Another thing, when she evaluated the patient before me,(another prospective coworker) she had him carry , lift and walk 2-3 times back & forth with 50 lbs weights. On my turn, she had me walk 5x with the same anount of weights. I didn't say anything else to her because she probably didn't like me from the start since I voiced to her her unfairness that I wasn't next in line from the time she came back from lunch. If this happens to you, please say something to upper mgmt. I didn't have time that day afterwards to file a complaint. Hopefully this doesn't happen again to anyone.
I had an appointment at 9 AM to see a podiatrist. At 9:45 AM I get called to the front desk and the gentleman asked me if I had received his text. I said no what number did you text ? He then reels off my landline number. So I gave him my cell phone number and then he explained to me that he had been trying to send me a registration form that has to be filled out. I then asked is that why I’ve been waiting so long? He didn’t answer. At10:50 AM, I get called into a room where I waited another 20 minutes before the doctor comes in. Corvel Workmen’s Comp. did not send my complete file to this Dr . They only sent him a couple of pages! The doctors quote was it’s like watching a movie. All you have is the middle, I don’t know the beginning and I don’t know the end. Honestly, I felt like it was a waste of time. The doctor was very nice, but did not think he could help me since it had been three years since the original injury. He did however, asked me to bring over the other MRIs or at least get in touch with Corvel and ask them to send him the complete file and then come back in two weeks. The lady who saw me out, gave me an appointment for two months away and I asked her why so far when the doctor said two weeks and she said well that will give Corvel plenty of time to send the documents! Had I known that this place was an urgent care, I never would’ve gone there. I was in a waiting room with injured as well as sick people and felt very uncomfortable. There is no way that you should have to wait over two hours to see a doctor when you have an appointment.
Very good service at front desk. Attentive and helpful while waiting to be called. I came in for a physical and drug test for job. The staff, nurses and dr was amazing and informative. Comfortable temperature and seats. Highly recommended! ❤️
The girl taking my samples didn't know what she was doing or even loading the sample in the machine. At the end she had to ask how to send it off to the lab for further testing. But your check in process was easy
I had a 1 pm appointment.....didn't go in until 2 hrs later. I asked the receptionist why was it taking so long - she said the doctor is really thorough with his patients and talks/explains what is going on with them plus they had a lot more patients that day than normal. Really? 2 hrs later? That's not acceptable. I almost walked out because they took so long. I didn't leave Concentra La Palma location until almost 4:40 pm. Still had to wait for my discharge paperwork. Waited another 40+ minutes for that. Not good at all
