Called without an appointment. The receptionist who answered was very friendly and accommodated me to be seen without an appointment. Once arrived i was greeted with a smile from all of the staff. Getting checked in was super quick and easy. Got seen under 30 mins. I really cant enough about the professionalism and service i received here today. Would highly recommend for urgent care visits..
Tl;dr I do not recommend this urgent care. The initial wait time was quick, and I was a walk-in appointment. The doctor was late and “over-friendly” with his behavior. I would have asked him to stop immediately, but I think he assumed that I, a grown (and petite) woman, was a child. I was highly uncomfortable with his touching me without consent. From patting my head to touching my thigh, it is not okay to touch people without their permission. I wish I had spoken up. I left feeling very angry. The doctor is old and needs to be better trained. He poked and prodded me for 10-15 mins without a proper diagnosis. As someone who has many urgent care experiences across the country, this is by far the worst experience I’ve had.
They were friendly, but there is literally no where to get ahold of them. I had a COVID test done and haven’t received my results. I’ve called three urgent cares including the one I went to and no one answers the phone. It just goes to an automated message. They say to go to the patient portal for results, don’t even know where that patient portal is! It’s frustrating, I know have to go in feeling horribly sick just to get my results for my work.
Most incompetent staff I've ever encountered. The person that was asked to take weight, height and temperature was either drunk, high or just extremely stupid. Did not take the time to verify which medication was given prior to visit and insisted on just giving a second dose of medication per doctor's instructions. After asking Dr. Marcus if it was normal to give a double dose of ibuprofen to a two year old he said he never approved the assistant to administer ibuprofen for a second time in a 30min span. By the way, temperature readings came back at 107,105, 102 and 95. "DR" Marcus' reasoning for a final temperature reading of 103 was a median reading of all measurements. "Dr." Marcus also wanted me to know that his thermometer has a miserable 70% reading accuracy. This place is a joke, stay away please.
I got there at 5 pm. They close at 6pm. I was there cuz I had a rash. I just needed some cream for it. I knew what the rash was and I knew the medication was called cuz it's the only one that works for me. I told her it would take maybe 10 minutes. The medication is only by prescription. She went to see if the doctor would take me cuz they are seeing there last patient even though it was closing in an hour. They said nope. I told them I live almost an hour away. There is no urgent care in my area that takes my insurance. They still said no! So they gave me another address of one in the area I never heard of. They called and checked to see if they take my insurance. They said yes. They told me its behind a restaurant. I'm like how do I get there. They told me just go down the street and it's on a brick building. No map nothing. They knew I dont know the area at all. So I left the parking lot and went up the street all there was, was houses for more than a mile! Now I'm lost and have no idea were I am and in the middle of the night in the rain lost and in a panic. I was an hour from my house. I called the office they sent me in the wrong direction and the restaurant that they told me was on the other side of the city and that is not the restaurant that they are behind. I was deeply upset at the lady who gave me such bad directions and couldn't even see me for not even 10 minutes. I had to drive more than an hour in the dark and pouring rain back home with no medicine.
