Concentra Urgent Care on Norwalk Boulevard in Santa Fe Springs provides convenient, walk-in medical care for individuals and families in the surrounding communities, including La Mirada residents who need prompt attention without the long wait times typically associated with emergency rooms. Located in a readily accessible unit just off a major corridor connecting several local neighborhoods, this clinic serves as a practical option when a health concern arises that cannot wait for a scheduled appointment with a primary care physician.
The clinic handles a broad range of non-life-threatening conditions and injuries, including respiratory illnesses, cuts requiring stitches, sprains and strains, infections, and flu symptoms. Beyond general urgent care, Concentra has a well-established reputation for occupational health services, making it a go-to resource for local employers and employees alike. Workers who experience on-the-job injuries can receive evaluation and treatment here, and businesses in the area frequently rely on Concentra for pre-employment physicals, drug testing, and workers’ compensation cases.
For La Mirada residents, the proximity of this location makes it a sensible choice when weekday availability at a personal doctor’s office is limited or when a health issue surfaces on evenings or weekends. The staff is equipped to handle both adult and pediatric patients, broadening its usefulness for households with children who may need same-day care for common illnesses or minor injuries sustained during after-school activities.
Concentra also offers occupational medicine programs that support local businesses in maintaining workplace safety compliance, which benefits both employers managing liability and employees seeking timely care and a clear path back to work. This dual focus on personal urgent care and occupational health makes the clinic a versatile resource in the community rather than a single-purpose facility.
Residents and employers in La Mirada looking for accessible, professional medical services close to home will find this Concentra location a reliable option for everyday health needs. Whether dealing with a sudden illness, a minor injury, or a required employment screening, the clinic provides a structured and staffed environment designed to move patients through care efficiently while maintaining quality attention. Visiting the location on Norwalk Boulevard or reaching out in advance to confirm services and hours is a reasonable first step for anyone considering this clinic for their healthcare needs.
I’ve gone to them because of a torn rotator cuff, I truly didn’t expect the incredible service from them, as I had terrible experiences with other urgent care centers. They’re kind and respectful. The physical therapy center as well. They’re also very careful with their techniques as not to hurt you. I thank them very much.
I was seen by Nurse practitioner. She was there to perform my physical for my DOT physical renewal for my Class A driver's license. She asked me what a 'class A is for?' At that point i was extremely nervous and concerned that a non competent person was in charge of my class A license. My class A license is my job. Nobody who makes a living driving wants any person performing a physical to not have a clue about why I'm there. In 2yrs for my renewal, i will ask that my employer not send me to concentra of Santa fe springs. No thank you.
This location was very fast to perform my drug screening. It was a pretty full lobby of patients. But my drug screening was complete in less then an hour professional staff smooth check in . Thank you
The staff are very friendly and welcoming. I’m not a big fan of doctors offices and I was very comfortable at this location.
Told me it would be 1.5- 2 hours for a drug test and a physical. Pretty accurate wait time considering how busy it was, some people were standing in the waiting/reception area. I waited a little over 2 hours for the whole thing. I think they only have 1 doctor on staff. Bring your earbuds you'll be here a while.
