My first initial contact with Imperial Body Shop was in July 2025 as they repaired my 1997 Mercedes C230 for front bumper damage. Greg Taylor was my contact person and he was amazing. He went beyond repairing my damage to even noticing my rear bumper was not totally flush with the quarter panels. Greg went out of his way to actually order bumper clips and installed it for me at no additional cost ! Mind you the rear bumper wasn’t damaged at all in the car accident ! His eye for details was impeccable. Now fast forward to February 2026 where someone had decided that they needed a small moulding off the Mercedes. Fortunately Mercedes had inventory of this part and shipped it from Germany. Now the hard part was to find any body shop to help paint this part. Fortunately I reached out to Greg again and he remembered me and so gracious to help. He could have turned me away because that little part would have taken time away from the more important repair work. He said he would make sure it was done ! And that is why Greg and Imperial Body Staff stand out ! Again thank YOU Greg !
I bought my needed part at the dealership but declined their outrageous installation price so I headed over to Imperial Body Shop. I've used them before and have had great service. A service attendant was present. He called another tech to see what the job needed. They took my car immediately. I waited in the office area. After about 15 minutes or so they were done! I was amazed! Thanks to the Imperial team. I'll be back, I'm sure!
OMG!!! You will not believe what happened to me today when visiting here!! I own a Kia Forte Coupe that had both side mirrors completely frozen in the closed position. Trips to other repair shops were totally nonproductive. Rico Rodriguez, the parts department manager, came out to look at the mirrors. In less than a minute, by flipping the indoor mirror switch several times, the right mirror immediately responded. Manually massaging the interior of the left mirror resulted in that mirror also responding. I was absolutely elated!! And then, to top it all off, Rico refused to bill me or accept any gratuity!!! This place was absolutely AWESOME!!! My highest respect, admiration, and recommendation for sure!!!
This is the second time I have needed my car repaired (ugh, I know) but Imperial Auto and Allan Baca made the experience less painless. I was well taken care of, kept informed of the progress and treated with respect. In my experience, they went about and beyond. I was referred to them by my insurance co. Met with Lenny Salas, he was very professional able to answer all my questions. Was able to quick work on my car ( paint scratches). Smooth and easy process. I had work on an older car I had and they did great work and delivered on time. The office staff was very helpful and got me to the correct people to speak with.
