In early 2026 my 2015 engine blew . Eric the owner of JDM helped me every step of the way to purchase & installation of a replacement motor. Even explaining that that model CRV had 2 types of engines. Mine was the “Earth Dreams” type. He’s very pleasant, kind & professional. The price was fair and the work was done correctly. My fear was passing the smog test and all went well. His employee Jonathan was excellent at customer service. Always kind & attentive to my questions and needs. I waited on this review to make sure all went well and so far so good. If I ever need an engine replacement or if someone needs the same I recommend JDM West Coast!! My 2007 Camry terribly burning lube oil and Toyota dealer told me need to pay over $7000 to repair it. Come to JDM is my lucky choice because they changed a dependable second hand engine (about 40k miles age) and give my car a new life. Today I pick up my repaired car and it runs very smoothly without noise and powerful move. $2.3k is responsible and real.

Came to pick up a transmission for a 2006 RAV4 and had a great experience. The guy was friendly, helpful, and made the whole process quick and easy. Solid service and straight to the point.
There team is solid, super responsive and helpful. As for there product I’m not so sure. Bought an rb25det, when I received it and my mechanic ran a leak down test 6 was leaking at 20% (which was worse but he got it down to 20%) and rust and corrosion in some spots ecu was a mess, timing belt and intake aren’t useable. When I emailed them to address these issues they sent me a video of a compression test and said the engine is in good condition. (I have no idea how old that video is) I’m understanding of the rust and corrosion as these motors are 20+ years, but when I bought a motor I expected to to pass a leak down test.
