My family and I had such a great experience here under the new ownership! The food was fresh, flavorful, and honestly some of the best I’ve had in a while. The customer service stood out too—everyone was so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. You can really tell the new owners care about both the quality of the food and the overall experience. The atmosphere feels refreshed, the portions are generous, and everything came out perfectly. I’ll definitely be coming back soon and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and service.

I heard good things about this restaurant and there new ownership I came and tried their mariscos and took the surprise of my life. WORMS 🐛 were coming out of the sea food 🤢🤮 I advise the waitress and they would only exchange my food. Never coming back first and last time.

The chips and salsa were wonderful, spicey and smokey. We had the soft taco plate with carne asada and the classic burrito wet (green sauce) with carne asada. It was all very tasty and delicious. To drink, we went ice tea unsweetened. We paid about $24 a person, and we had enough food to take home for an 2 meals. Well worth it.

A Hidden Gem Revealed!
I recently visited Casa del Cocinero and honestly, I can't understand the low scores. While I know they've had service issues in the past, things have truly turned around. The interior has been remodeled and now has a trendy feel with multiple monitors and what seems to be an adequate staffing level. I even noticed a stage set up, probably for karaoke – how fun!
Now, let's talk about the food. I know what I love: the chips and red salsa are always on point, and the **carne en su jugo** is absolutely delicious. I'm a creature of habit, so I tend to stick to what I know, but I'm sure their other dishes are just as great.
Casa del Cocinero has made some serious improvements, and I think it's time they got the love they deserve. If you haven't been there recently, give it a try and support this fantastic local spot.

Ordered with my family of four on a not so busy Friday night. Waitress came back after 20 minutes to tell me they were out of the soup I ordered. After another 20 minutes we gave up a left when the waitress came back and told us it would be another 10 minutes. First time, last time visiting here. Don’t waste your time, you’ll get better service at Pepe’s, Cabo Taco, or any of the other local spots.
