La Fuente Mariscos Restaurant is a Mexican seafood restaurant located at 14223 Leffingwell Rd in Whittier, serving the surrounding communities of La Mirada, Norwalk, and the greater San Gabriel Valley. The restaurant specializes in mariscos, the beloved coastal Mexican tradition of fresh seafood dishes that has deep roots in Mexican culinary culture. Guests can expect a menu centered around the bold, savory flavors that define this style of cooking, from hearty soups and stews to grilled and sautéed seafood plates prepared with traditional seasonings and care.
The restaurant offers dine-in service as well as online ordering for guests who prefer the convenience of enjoying their meals at home. A catering option is also available, making La Fuente a practical choice for families and community members planning gatherings, celebrations, or events in the area. Whether the occasion is a casual weeknight dinner or a larger get-together, the kitchen is set up to serve groups with the same quality that keeps regular customers coming back.
La Fuente Mariscos appeals to the significant Spanish-speaking and Mexican-American population throughout La Mirada and Whittier by offering an experience that feels authentic rather than adapted. For families who grew up eating mariscos or who are looking to introduce that tradition to a new generation, the restaurant provides a familiar and welcoming environment. New visitors curious about this style of Mexican cuisine will find it equally approachable.
Residents interested in visiting La Fuente Mariscos can browse the full menu and place orders directly through the restaurant’s website, which also includes a photo gallery and information about catering inquiries. The Leffingwell Road location is accessible from several nearby neighborhoods and sits within a reasonable distance for La Mirada locals looking for a satisfying meal without traveling far.
Small parking lot but we were greeted and sat our group lots of indoor seating space perfect for big families. Food was very good and definitely recommended will be back soon.
Haven’t been here in a few years so thought I’d stop in for lunch. Was greeted and sat as soon as I walked in, looked over the menu and enjoyed the chips and salsa, ordered the usual Cameron a la diabla with flour tortillas. The dish was served fresh and hot and tasted as good as it looked. I will be back, and it won’t be years from now.
Everything was amazing big portions!
Best seafood mex restaurant in the area. Can vouch for all tacos including barbacoa and ceviche. On top of that, service and cleanliness of restaurant was outstanding. Will be back when in the area.
Just ordered some food got home started to eat and there is a hair in the food a dark hair that looks like a pubic hair. Disgusting and I can’t believe this. I will never be able to eat there again ever. This is truly disgusting to find in food you already started eating. Obviously they are not clean obviously they don’t care if they lose customers.
