Marathon Plumbing, Heating and AC Repair has been serving homeowners and businesses across the Los Angeles area from their base in Whittier, CA, making them a convenient and reliable resource for La Mirada residents dealing with plumbing problems or HVAC issues. Located at 9826 Painter Ave, the company covers a broad range of home services including heating system installation and repair, air conditioning maintenance and replacement, and plumbing work — essentially the essential systems that keep a home functional and comfortable through every season.
For La Mirada households, having a dependable HVAC contractor nearby matters. Southern California summers push air conditioning systems hard, and when a unit fails during a heat wave, waiting days for service is not an option. Marathon’s focus on the LA area and surrounding communities means they understand the regional climate demands and the types of systems commonly installed in local homes, from older units in established neighborhoods to newer high-efficiency systems in recently updated properties.
Beyond emergency repairs, Marathon also assists customers with financing options and information on available tax credits and rebates, which can make a significant difference when facing the cost of a full system replacement. This practical approach reflects an understanding that major home repairs are not always planned expenses, and helping customers navigate financial options is part of the overall service.
The company also works with commercial clients, extending their capabilities beyond residential homes to local businesses and commercial properties in need of plumbing or HVAC support. For La Mirada business owners managing a retail space, office, or other commercial building, having a contractor familiar with both residential and commercial systems can simplify vendor relationships considerably.
La Mirada residents looking for a straightforward, experienced contractor for heating, cooling, or plumbing needs would do well to reach out to Marathon Plumbing, Heating and AC Repair. Their combination of regional experience, service range, and customer-facing resources like financing support makes them a practical choice for routine maintenance and unexpected repairs alike.
Marathon Plumbing was able to send AJ to my home on an urgent call Saturday afternoon. He was very nice and professional! He was able to let us know right away what the issue was and get us working temporarily until the repairs could be made. Communication was excellent throughout this very extensive project. AJ kept us up to date daily with all the staff he sent to our home. He has followed up with us after the work was completed to ensure that everything is good! I will continue to work with Marathon and AJ for any other additional repairs or future projects!!!
Robert listened to my concerns about getting and installing a new water filtration system for my home. This new version was a little high but was able to find an adequate resolution. As you can quess, I purchased the new system. Armando was the service rep, he negotiate with Robert for a reasonable price and installation fees. Armando's expertise was helpful. Thank you both. Technician Jesus did an outstanding job with the installation of the water system. When asked questions on the system, Jesus was polite and answered all my questions. Cleaned up after himself and left the area spotless. System working terrific, hopefully no issues for a long haul. Thanks Marathon Plumbing for a job well done!!!
The plumbing valves in both showers of house needed to be repaired and the kitchen plumbing needed to be repaired, unfortunately the walls were left open when they said they would put panels in. Also they severed an electrical line when cutting into the walls. They finally sealed the walls 5 days later after we had to call them back. The job was done but the electrical in the back of the house is still out till we get an electrician. I was contemplating for future business to have them replumb the entire house at a very large expense, but probably not.
Having used Long Beach Heating and Air for many years on two previous residences I found my experience with the now merged Marathon Plumbing Heating and Air continued to live up to my expectation. In evaluating my 1985 HVAC system in a newly move to residence they gave me three options and were able to quickly replace the old with the new. Everyone involved was terrific with special kudos to start-up technician Daniel who tracked down an unexpected wiring issue along with getting all up and running properly all the while remaining polite, courteous and friendly.
I want to start this by saying the techs that worked on my system were always great, professional, and knowledgeable. However, I got my hvac system installed brand new by Marathon in 2022. Less than 2 years later it broke. I was told that the refrigerant had completely drained. They supposedly patched the leak and put new fluid in. This cost me $1,200. Then two years later, it broke again, this time the coil was broken and the refrigerant was gone again. This cost me $4,000. Days after this “fix” the unit in the attic started leaking so much it came through my ceiling. They came back out to fix it again. This time, thankfully for free. The tech (who again was super cool) noted that they never installed a secondary drain pan in the attic to prevent leaks from getting to the ceiling. After talking to multiple people on the phone and in person they agreed to put in a drain pan for a discount but would not do it for free even though it should have been installed originally. All in all, a brand new system less than 5 years old has broken three times and never once was I offered any kind of compensation.
