Special thanks to Caroline in appointments. I recently had my PCP move on to other opportunities. I had Lots of questions about continuity of my care going forward. They were handled capably by Caroline. Very knowledgeable and resourceful. She quickly understood my concerns and scheduled appropriately. Thanks again.
Waiting 45 to 55 minutes just to speak with someone at a doctor's office is extremely frustrating. I've called for my test results three days in a row, only to be told each time that someone will call me back—but I'm still waiting. It really doesn’t feel like they care about their patients. I understand that medical offices are busy, but this level of disorganization is unacceptable. PIH, you need to do better. I'm giving two stars only because I like Dr. Jae, but this experience has been beyond frustrating.
I had set up an appointment for annual physical and everything was fine until today that someone just called me that my appointment with Dr. Jae has to be cancelled and she “could help me set up another appointment.” This lady that I spoke to did not know if the “meet and greet” with the physician is even covered by my insurance and advised me to call my insurance. I already told her that my insurance just like most of the insurance coverage, pays for annual physical exam. I don’t know what this “meet and greet” appointment PIH had set up as it sounds new to me. If they have this, aren’t they supposed to know if this is covered? Then this lady insisted that she will be asking her nursing supervisor. Why is she going to her nursing supervisor? Isn’t she supposed to ask the people from the billing department? PIH sucks.
The staff and Dr. Teresa Leung Do were amazing. Very informative, welcoming, understanding, and friendly. I’d recommend you guys to others.
Horrible, horrible, Horrible. Everything from allowing to be data breached, canceling my appointments, delaying my eye surgery, and withholding my medication. Cvs and Blue shield at least tried to help me but PIH would not return calls. SHAME ON YOU!!
