I needed to schedule an appointment with a neurologist over at this location. Every time I used to call to schedule it I would get same answer. “we can’t schedule your appointment because your previous dr needs to release you in order to see the doctor that you would like to see. Well, even though I was told that that would not be an issue, that PIH U C C OF SANTA SPRINGS WOULD TAKE CARE Of the release They never did. Until I was lucky enough to have Monica Answer from the Neurology department took took this matter into her hands and went above and beyond to be able to finally schedule my appointment. Monica takes her job very seriously. She is understanding and empathetic towards patients needs. Thank you Monica! You are an asset to this corporation. God bless 💕
Waited 1 hr to be seen , it was ok but called a d waited i nside another 25 min waiting for doctor to be seen only for 10 min. I notice also another person was called first came after me. If you have severe pain go to hospital better
Check in process felt like I was doing there job. Even though there are receptionist there they’re still want you to check in for yourself over your phone and after there are ads after you check in. I go in for chronic back pain for the physician assistant to state she can’t do nothing about it but for my pcp to refer me out to physical therapy. She gave me no advice to help with the pain or no medication. So, now I have to wait a few months to see my pcp and that does not include the months I have to wait to see a physical therapist. Overall first time coming to this location Santa Fe springs and Downey urgent PIH is way better and thoughtful in patients concerns.
Spacious and clean building. Staff made my mom and I feel welcomed. Dr Andrew Luu was very patient and was able to help my mom with her needs. Service was a 10/10 we only spent about 30-40 mins in there. Would recommend it.
The waiting area is spacious enough to feel at a safe distance from other patients. The staff and the doctors are all very attentive and professional. The wait times are reasonably minimal and the facilities is always clean and organized.
