I don’t recommend coming here to get nails done, maybe hair, but not nails. I got a very basic pedicure done today...they don’t even offer any real options for treatment. Or well they weren’t offered or explained to me. The pedicure happened in less than 30 minutes. She worked really fast, which is good but I was hoping to get a bit more relaxation out of it. She gave me a 3 minute leg massage which was good but way short. Maybe if you need something quick this is a good option but if you’re coming to get pampered or relax maybe this isn’t the place. They accepted me as a walk in which was nice I guess. This place also seems to cater to a mostly older crowd so maybe I was the wrong demographic for the place. I think she assumed I wasn’t here to really spend money because I look young. Even though I go to school around the corner I don’t think I’ll ever come back. One Star for accepting me as a walk in and seating me very fast. One star because this is the cheapest pedicure I’ve had in a long time and the color I got was rly nice.
I’ve had my hair cut by almost every woman that works here, and they all have done a great job. Its both the cheapest and best quality place to get your hair cut. Annie’s my favorite. She’s so cute. She once stayed after hours to cut my hair and I would highly recommend her if you’re going to get highlights. Oh and this is kinda off topic, but the owner has beautiful skin, like flawless. I’d give this place a gujillion stars if I could
I had asked for the first appointment of the day. When I arrived on time, there were several people getting nails done and haircuts. My nail last realized she had a used and not recently sterilized clipper. She changed part way through. Her work was good though. Afterwards, the manager asked me to move to another chair. I had to ask him to disinfect it even though others had been sitting there. It was outside and not totally on top of one another. Our temperatures we're taken before service.
I went in this morning for the first time in this place and was treated well. Then when my hairstylist, Alice showed up to do color and cut my hair, she was as nice as she could be. So sweet and very professional. She surely knows her trade well. Also, had a pedicure while I was waiting for my hair color to set-in and Lilly was also great - she gave me the best foot and leg massage I've ever had in any other nail shop (and I've been to many in the past). When the color of the top of my head came out lighter than expected, Alice didn't hesitate to fix it by applying a slightly darker shade to even out and match the color to the rest of my very long hair. She must have cut off at least 7 inches of an overgrown, dried out old perm. I hadn't had a haircut in more than 2 years and stopped coloring my hair more than a year ago. I'm very pleased with the results of my first visit there. Alice did a fantastic job! Everyone there made me feel so welcomed.
The gentleman at the front is very nice but sometimes there is a language barrier. Got a pedicure here. The massage chair was a little rough but I’m not much of a fan of massages anyway. Initially the water was cold & I felt rushed. The lady who helped me spoke in another language to her coworkers the entire time I was in the chair but I was prepared w headphones. She also had what appeared to be a drop of blood on her smock but I just didn’t look at it & pretended it was nail polish. It took a lot of effort.
