Tucked along Rosecrans Ave, this popular shabu-shabu spot brings an interactive hot pot dining experience to La Mirada, where guests cook fresh meats, vegetables, and noodles in flavorful broths right at the table. It's a great option for families, groups, or anyone looking to enjoy a fun and satisfying meal together. Stop by and see why locals keep coming back for a relaxed, communal dining experience.
Went to Shabuya recently with old friends. Great KBBQ spot! Buffet-style, so you go pick what you want and cook it. Plenty of banchan. And it HUGE inside! Ordinarily, in most Korean BBQ soots I have been to all the tables, buffet, and servers are smashed together and one trips over the other. Here, plenty of seating, room to spread out, and lots of groups. Would definitely return. Enjoy!
I visited this place again after a long time for a company dinner. There haven’t been many changes, but that’s not a bad thing. Even with a lot of customers, the restaurant was clean and the service was fairly quick. For the price, the quality of the meat was acceptable, and the included vegetables and seafood were satisfactory. Dining out isn’t cheap these days, so this felt like a reasonable option without high expectations. On a chilly day, it was a decent and practical choice.
A large group of us came here after attending a funeral. The staff seated us in a designated area and emphasized—several times—that we had to completely fill each table before moving on to the next. We also weren’t given a choice of broth; the same one was served to everyone. Meat options were limited to just two types. While we didn’t necessarily mind, it did feel a bit rigid, especially considering we were bringing in a substantial group and giving them good business. On a positive note, the veggie bar was fresh and plentiful as always.
This is our usual go to for Shabu Shabu. Vegetables are well washed and food is fresh. Today my father mistook $100 bill for $20 bill and the waiter came back to let us know we had overpaid. We appreciated the honesty of the wait staff.
We came during lunch and it was packed. Recommended to add yourself on the waitlist before driving over. Our waittime was about 45 mins to one hour. Had a good selection of food in the salad bar, but wished they had the more classic item for hot pot, like squash, fried tofu, and chrysanthemum greens. The meat selection also had a good variety to choose from. However, my partner did notice that some of the meat sliced did have tough bit to chew on. I had no trouble eating thought it, but she had to be mindful when eating the meat. The service was also good. Our waiter was attentive to our table, checking up on us, asking if we want another selection of meats, and clearing our table of empty dishes. The atmosphere was also good. It was not to loud and the tables were spaced out enough for us to enjoy our conversation without having of people sitting side-by-side us
