My wife, Stacy and I have been looking for a dependable dental clinic but it wasn't as easy as we thought to find a good one like our old dentist who retired few years ago. After trying out another dentist in our neighborhood, my wife and I eventually decided to move on to Smile Up. We both felt that Dr. Mina is a honest caring person who would go the extra mile to maintain patients' oral health in the best conditions. The office is clean, organized and well-staffed. And it is in a walking distance from where we live:) We have decided to introduce this clinic to our daughter as her first adult dentist. Hopefully, this clinic is our family's new home for many years to come.
Well... I'll start by saying that Mina & Dr. David are the 2 of the nicest people that you will meet. When I met them, I was in a bad shape. My gum was really messed up & I almost lost all my teeth have I not met them. Mina totally fixed my gum problems as the best as possible. I mean, she had to really really get in there. Both Mina & Dr. David are extremely thorough & detail oriented that I knew this was the place to go. After almost a year, my gum is much healthier, have a new implant & looks like I'm back to being normal again. As long as I goto the dentist for routine clean up, I should be good to go. I highly recommend this dentist bc they're really good at their skills but also, the kindest people that you will meet ! Thank you guys !
About five years ago, I had crowns placed on two molars. Last December, one of them started to hurt badly. Another clinic told me the tooth had to be pulled, but I wasn’t convinced. Then I found Smile Up Dental, and it was the best decision I made. Dr. Hyzen was so gentle and kind. She took time to really understand my pain and treated it carefully without rushing. After she applied medication to my gums, the pain gradually went away, and I’ve been fine ever since. Even after my Medi-Cal insurance ended, I continued coming here and paying out of pocket because I truly trust them. Dr. David is very thorough, and the front desk staff are always warm and caring. This clinic genuinely cares for their patients, not just their teeth. I’m very thankful and highly recommend Smile Up Dental to everyone!
A place I really love❤️ A doctor who has been treating my teeth and gums for a long time. The gums that couldn't be repaired at a famous dentist in LA were treated delicately here and completely fixed. She is delicate and kind and continues to take care of my gums and teeth after her treatment. Also the staff are so friendly. As the name suggests, it is a place where smiles are raised, I think. I highly recommend this place.
Hands down the best dental experience I have ever had. I have had serious dental phobia for years and avoided the dentist for over a decade. Just the thought of sitting in a dental chair gave me anxiety. But after visiting this office, that fear is completely gone. From the moment I walked in, everyone made me feel comfortable and welcome. The staff is incredibly warm and kind, and the whole place felt more like home than a typical clinic. I had two root canals, two crowns, and multiple cavities filled, and to my surprise, it was completely pain free. They guided me through each step of the process, which really helped ease my nerves and made everything feel manageable. Dr. David’s attention to detail is amazing. He made sure every part of the work was done carefully and precisely. My crowns are truly on point. You honestly cannot even tell they are crowns. They look and feel so natural that I forget they are even there. Mina, my hygienist, was wonderful. She was gentle, patient, and had such a calming presence. Joe and the rest of the team were friendly, helpful, and made everything feel easy. I also want to give a big thank you to the receptionists. They handled all of the scheduling perfectly and everything went smoothly without a single issue. If you have dental anxiety like I did, this is the place you want to go.
